Stephanie Del Otero

Stephanie Del Otero, born in Venezuela in 1986, grew up immersed in the performing arts and began her career as a ballet dancer before transitioning to abstract painting while enrolled at Bergen Community College in New Jersey in 2013. Her work draws on nature and movement, with her early life in dance shining through in colorful abstraction and giving life to her belief that “art is the language of the soul.” Her work has been displayed at shows and galleries throughout New Jersey and New York and she collaborated with artist Daniel Luro Goiricelaya on a special exhibit at the Harlem Museum/Museo del Barrio in New York City. Stephanie frequently works with charities donating pieces for fundraising and particularly likes to assist organizations supporting her homeland Venezuela.
